I upgraded to this Motorola V180 flip phone 1 day ago. I was very pleased with the initial look of the phone. Very shiny black finish on the front cover gives this phone a totally different look. As far as features, this phone is fully loaded. The speaker phone is super clear and the phone is very easy to use. I recommend the phone as a top pick!!!

I am very dissapointed with my phones. I bought 2 with my Cingular plan, and they drop calls practacly every other call, and I constantly have failed calls. The phones do have excellent battery life, but who cares when you plug them in every night anyway. We've had the phones for a year now. Had to get a new phone shortly after purchasing because of the dropped calls, but that didn't help at all. I do love the speaker option, and will look for a better phone this spring with that option (I'm sure they're out there). I expected much more from Motorola. It was a big let down. I will be very reluctant to buy Motorola again. How can they make such a terrible phone?!

The Motorola V180 is a hrrible cell phone. Dust behind the screen and easily scratched. I complained about poor reception, so they replaced the antenna...which they said were defective. Still horrible reception! I live within 100ft. of a centennial whatever store where it was purchased and the thing still gets no reception. Centennial should be refunding me considering the number of calls it has dropped. People can hardly hear me and it often fails to notify me of received calls or voicemails until three hours later! Despite having a full set of bars the whole time! argh! Screw you motorola, I'm buying a new phone from somebody else.

I have had the Motorola V180 phone for eleven months and have been satisfied with the phone. The face plate scratches easily and gets dust behind it and in front of the external screen, but my concerns have been superficial like that. Last month, however, the screen went bad. I have not dropped the phone nor treated it harshly. When I change phones, I lose all of my address information because the only way to save the address book for transfer requires using the screen to manipulate through the screens. I will not be buying another Motorola.

The Motorola V180 is the worst cell phone I have ever owned. I had a Nokia that I really liked, but I replaced it with V180 to get the advanced network features -- big mistake! This a cheap piece of junk that scratches easily and provides very poor reception. I am only about 15 months into a two-year contract and I will probably drop the contract just to get rid of this stinking phone. By the way, Cingular is zero help. They did replace the SIM chip, which improved reception for about week. That erased all of my stored numbers, even though said it would not erase them. I am done with both Cingular and Motorola. Neither company seems to have a clue. They just sell but don't service.

I have to say that the Motorola v180 is the worst phone for reception if you live outside of any city. We had other phones that were the older Nokia that worked outside the city limits but we can't get even one bar at home. As far as the rest of the phone is concerned it is fine. I find it very user friendly and I have never had a problem with the battery life either.

I have had the Motorola V180 for about 3 months. I hate it. The cheap plastic design sucks! The faceplate scratches easily. It's over all easy to use, but I can't use it with NO signal. I can't wait until I can get a new, different phone.

This is a horrible phone. I have had many different cell phones and the Motorola v180 is the worst one. This phone gets horrible reception, and horrible statice. Cingular will replace them but the catch is they send you a refurbished one, which I would probably be better off with my original. I have been through about 5 of these only because I am waiting to sign another contract to get a different phone. Don't get this phone!
